James Genovese

8th July 2026

Many of you will remember James’s movie star looks. Powerfully built, he had strength and charisma in his presence and in his nature. Nevertheless he was humble and appreciative. He started working as a reader in the late 1990s, and his dedication and exemplary work ethic made him a star. His son Matthew would often accompany him to The Rocks. His preferred cards were the Mythic Tarot by Liz Greene.

After the family business was sold, James dedicated himself to reading and was much appreciated by his loyal clients.

He had health problems for many years and moved to Victoria for treatment. He died there last Tuesday. There will never be another of his stature and energy.
